Tilling turned out to be pretty fun and a great workout. I wish I knew a bunch of people that needed some tilling done just for the workout, lol.
We are going headlong into utilizing the soil in our yard combined with the benefits of flood irrigation to grow our garden. Last year was beyond tedious tending to so many bags in such a big space and I am hoping to have more success based on the results I achieved in the two smaller beds I created last year using the sheet mulching/lasagna method.

If you're tilling that much area, tilling is definitely the way to go! Not upset for you using a tiller. Agree with you on waiting till March. This has been an interesting weather season. Still say .. ive seen snow before Easter. Can't wait to see what you do with the garden! Happy Gardening.
Owning your home vs. renting gives you the ability to till. Hope you have many years to get the gardens better and better.
