  1. So good to see you today! Glad you made it through the weather. We faired well over here. Stock up folks. You'll be eating at today's prices tomorrow. And we all know prices are not coming down any time soon. 😅

  2. Invaluable and can't put a price tag on elbow grease. Wonderful instructions. You cannot eat papers, silver and gold. Learn skills. Thank you very much.

  3. I’ll be honest, I’m on a carnivore diet, but when SHTF I won’t be worried about what’s the healthiest in my pantry! I’m going to be grateful I stocked a variety of stuff! I too have potatoes, flavored rices, pasta, Raman, crackers, oils, vegetables. ❤❤❤ your pantry looks fantastic.

  4. Super Video!!!!! Thank you for sharing how you arranged your food goods….plus showing the variety. In a situation where we might would have to solely depend on what we have in our house…it's great to have a variety of choices to some degree I would think.
How did you figure how long your supply would last you guys? I will do some searching to see how much of each category I would need to last me for the year. Always helping…thank you. Jesus bless.

  5. Beautiful pantry and I got some organization ideas from watching this. Where did you buy the canned butter? I have ghee but I’ve never seen that before. I’m glad you made it through the storm ok.

  6. You will be shocked at how much space you save by freeze drying all your can goods, Half of each canned item is a liquid, When you freeze dry everything. You have the same amount of product with only taking up about half as much shelf space. Freeze dried chicken looks way better in jars as well.

  7. Nice pantry! I hear FDA just approved putting bugs and worms in our food. To avoid that we need to start canning our own soups, grinding our own flours, etc. I hear anything with red dye will have worms. It's just unbelievable the conditions were facing. Start checking labels. If they say E-120 Karmin (red dye) cachinel worms. E-904 WIND is worm waste. They use unrecognizable names. Cockroaches are called Blattodea. Grasshopper is called Acheta domesticus. Locusts called Lucusta. Buffalo worm called Alphitobius Diaperinus. Flour worms called flour, yellow flour, tenebrinus molitor. Write this down for future reference. Worm waste will be found in sugar, baking products, pasta, pastry products and drinks. Not good.

  8. Some of my “pantry” isn’t in the pantry! Medical supplies in the front bathroom in storage left empty when the girls moved out. Paper goods & Castile soap, etc in the laundry room bc temp doesn’t matter. A converted bedroom contains the extended pantry and gas space for more than twice what I currently have—so like you I have to be busy! Thanks for your encouragement ❤

  9. Thank God we had 5 years of food before the great pandemic. We have about 3 years now because I just stocked up again. Without our pantry we would of been at the food banks! Because of our pantry we went 1 year with zero income coming in..no unemployment, EBT ect. The last two years my husband has worked a seasonal job. He works 6 months a year. 12 months for the past 2 years and that is all we have for income, but we were debt free, had savings and a very large pantry

  10. I have 3 years supply canned food in my apartment, I no longer have to shop, as I have all the food I need…Saved a lot of money, as prices have skyrocketed here on groceries….You must have a huge family to go through all you have in your pantry in 5 months time…..I am a widower, live by myself….

  11. When you were going through your beans all I kept thinking about was Forrest Gump but with shrimp. 😂
I wish I had that grocery store in my basement, looks great!

  12. Wow! You have really got a fully stocked pantry! I am wondering how many you are saying this will feed for 5 month?

  13. Excellent video. You just showed me how far behind I really am…But, at least I am getting started! 😁😁

  14. Your pantry is amazing! I am jealous because I have to mouse-proof everything. I have dealt with mice in my pantry twice, so I store everything in mouse-proof containers . 😏

  15. Looks like you need to can up some more tomatoes:) I think different drinks are important, especially like powdered Gatorade for the electrolytes, tea kool-aid just for something to taste good, I am saving for a freeze dryer it's going to take awhile, I have put away vodka because it has a lot of uses where do you get that can butter I don't like gee and have thought about canning butter I know it not approved but I don't understand why, if you can it like meat just a ideal God bless

  16. EVERYTHING LOOKS REAL GOOD.. EXCEPT.. THE CRISCO. NOT GOING THERE.
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR ? POWDERED GATORADE?! I HAVE LOTS OF KOOLAID STICK THINGIES LOL AND LEMONADE, ETC. SUMMERS ARE HUMID.. WINTERS.. ARE COLD ON THE ROCK FACE HERE.
YOU CAN'T CAN OR FREEZE DRY ENOUGH MEAT.

  17. Hi Jill. Awesome pantry! A labor of love for sure! Can you please share what brand the jar vacuum sealer thingie is you use? Been thinking of getting one.I’m kinda clueless on where to start and what to look for. Lol.

  18. So which freeze dryer did you get. Did you invest in the oil free. If not is it difficult to operate? Just wondering I have a dehydrator but that's quite an investment

  19. Add 200 lbs onions and 50 garlic. 100 pints of olives mixed, 30 mixed gals of vinegars. Add 200 lbs of different salts for safe emptying of the freezers into five gal buckets.

  20. So glad all is well after those storms. Your pantry is impressive! Really enjoyed and appreciate the tour. Love seeing other peoples ideas and setups. My pantry is in a spare bedroom. 😂 This week I've been reorganizing the canned and dry goods and writing the best by dates on front and top to be more visible – boring! Can already tell I'm going to love it though. 👍
