Can I plant squash and melon close together?
I have 2” tall radishes and it got to 24°. Last night was even colder wind chills, and it looks like they turned dark green and died. I checked him when I got home from work this morning and they’re not looking good.
Amazing video🌹🌹
Definitely have the bug lol. I’m outside now zone 7b
Wow so interesting
Great videos thank you! Question: I planted out some 4-week old kale transplants about 4 days ago and now we're going to get another 8" of snow! What's the best way to protect them? Will they die under all that snow? Could I get away with putting a plastic shoebox over them similar to the onions in your video?
Yikes! Here in Zone 8 S.C. we are having 50-60 degree cloudy or rainy days/40's at night. This week is calling for 4 nights of upper 30's with 1 night freeze. I want to put plants outside, not have to bring them back inside!
Please turn up sound mine is full blast and still hard to hear her.
Frost is in the forecast for the next three days, and again next week. I'm waiting for Chijimisai, Japenese Bunching Onions, and China Rose Radish seeds to germinate. I have seedlings sprouted for Boc Choy, Komatsuna, Danvers, Purple Top Turnips, and Tokinashi Turnips. My other raised bed plants, French Breakfast radiash, German Giant radish, Giant Radish of Sicily, Malaga Radish, Russian Red Kale, Japanese Giant Red Mustard, Tokyo Bekana Mustard, Swiss Chard, snow peas, lettuce, New Zealand Spinach, and a few garlic that survived the winter storm are all doing well. 25 of 26 Seascape Strawberry plants are bursting with new growth. Potatoes that I planted a week ago, are already popping out of the ground. I'll have to cover them during the evenings with potential frost. Inside my greenhouse, my tomato plants and Red Bearded Onions are theriving, and my pepper and herb seedlings are doing well. I know, that is a lot, and I'm not finished yet with squash, pole beans, cucumbers, zinnias, marigolds, peppers, assorted herbs, and Shasta Daiseys yet to plant. I can't help it, I like variety in my diet.
Darn i had my timers set for the live and i fell asleep anyway. Grrr. Way to go @Angela, @Rebecca and @Urban Chicken Momma!! 😀 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 well done! :D.
I have access to metal panels like your clear ones. Would they work the same way to warm up the soil?
Can you expand about you peas in the extra large grow bag? What variety? And how tall do they get? And, of course, how will you support them so they can be picked without damaging the others?
I love seeing your gardens. Thanks for sharing!
I could watch this video all day. Can we have more video of different gardens ?
I really enjoyed seeing each garden and I’m already looking forward to the next one. I hope you’ll include you’re GreenStalks as part of each of these videos since that’s how I’m starting my first year as a gardener and I’m always interested in how people are using them, their progress, maintenance, etc.
I really enjoyed seeing the other’s garden! And that yard sale…wow!!😃
