I made this coleslaw for a family party recently, and was surprised at how much of a hit it was! I think people are just used to the premade stuff you get at fast food restaurants so having some fresh crisp slaw is a treat. We had ordered BBQ from a good place nearby, and people were shocked when the found out the slaw was homemade and not from the restaurant. My BIL had a plate full of just slaw at one point 😆

I use the recipe from the book, which is different then the one you linked. It is without a doubt the best coleslaw recipe ever. Anytime i make it people cannot get enough and ask about it a lot.

I cut the ribs into 3-4 rib pieces. I do 34 minutes using the same pork stock over (and over). I make my own sauce and broil them.
