I’m using about 1.5-2tbsp of this in my crock pot jerk chicken, surely there’s calories in it, but none per 6g according to the label.

Should I leave it as 0 for my recipe, or add a few calories? Ingredients are in 3rd slide. This will make up a very small part of a recipe containing chicken thighs, boullion, water and jerk bbq sauce, if that helps.

I don’t worry about them at all. Unless you’re using the entire bottle at one time & eating the entire thing, the calories are negligible. Keep in mind that all calorie counts are estimates, so getting worked up about a couple of calories is a waste of time. Personally, as someone who has been counting for awhile, I accept that my daily count of calories is probably somewhere within ~100 calories of the accurate amount and I don’t let every single calorie that passes my lips stress me out. That’s some /r/1200isplenty shit and it’s not worth it.

It depends. Spray oils that say 0 calories, I usually add 50-100 calories.

I assume each serving has 4 calories. In the USA, the FDA allows companies to list that a product has 0 calories if a serving size has less than 5 calories.
