I made these fairly quickly for an easy weeknight meal.
Recipe and instructions:
1. Chop halloumi into pieces.
2. Marinate in your favorite sauce (I used a spicy peri peri sauce and only marinated them for about 15 minutes).
3. Sprinkle flour on top of the marinating halloumi and fully coat each piece.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk an egg. Throw the flour-covered halloumi pieces in the egg and mix to cover fully.
5. Pour breadcrumbs on top and mix to coat each piece with as much breadcrumbs as possible.
6. Deep fry for about 5 minutes.
7 (optional). Put them in the oven for a couple of minutes just to dry them out.
