First time trying this one, and it was also my first time trying something 100% gamay.
I found this one pleasant. Fairly tart, with some mild tannins, fruit, and earthiness. Overall, it’s light to medium bodied. I found that it improved a lot with some time to breathe. The acidity was a bit strong, but as we finished the bottle, it mellowed out a lot.

Pax Mahle makes some delicious Gamay. Less subtle than French Gamay but really well crafted.
