Overall, the Go is an excellent upgrade from the Gaggia without going too crazy. It steams really well for a single boiler. I’ve used dual boilers, and the steaming quality is almost the same, although the process is a bit more tedious. Cortados daily!

Profitec Go & Baratza Sette 270
Thoughts on the Sette 270? Is it really as loud as some people say?
Been strongly considering this upgrade! Good to hear
I love the form factor of the gaggia and this is probably gonna be my upgrade down the line, nice to hear it seems worth the extra dough
Is there a notable improvement in taste, consistency and workflow compared to the gaggia in your ecoerience?
Sermon is so delicious
For a complete newbie who wants to take the step into making great espresso. Would you recommend the Gaggia or the Go as the first step into the coffee making world? My grinder will be a Eureka Mignon Specialista in either of the cases.
I am still learning, good to know Go is better than Gaggia, at least in your opinion. thanks.
Did you have a PID mod on your Gaggia? I guess I’m just curious what the Go offers that the Gaggia doesn’t that made it a worthwhile upgrade to you?
