My older brother loved this place. Had to go every time he went back to Austin to visit. I always thought it was ok but we ate there a lot as kids so I’m probably biased on burning out on it.

I miss eating here with my great Aunt Lucille. It was a place she always took us to. So many memories about this place.

Took my wife of 20 years there for our first date…piece of chocolate pie and coffee. We stood up in our booth and all around us were old grey couples doing the same. 🤷😆💥

I vaguely remember the old Night Hawk location on Congress that burned down. When they built a new location at the NW corner of Congress & Riverside it was fancy. I believe it’s the same building Austin Trust Company is in now.
HEB sold the NH frozen dinners, I used to get the salsbury steak & tots.
