After receiving the Monolith Max I’ve had some time to compare it to the Niche. It’s definitely a step up! The first thing I noticed is that the coffee just tastes… More. Even failed fast non-turbo shots tastes pretty decent. Taking value into consideration grinders like this one aren’t exactly topping the list, but if you like to put your money where you spend your time (and it’s within your budget) it can’t get any better than this!

Very nice, very clean, well organized set up. Def next investment down the road should be a new hardwood wood table top. I was contemplating getting the same model but in the Ikea showroom it looks like it’s a softwood plywood pine so may hold up well to spills or dents.
