  1. I have never seen garlic used like that and I’m extremely skeptical of any substantial exterior seasoning. I hope this was actually boiled correctly.

Where are the good crawfish spots in town? Besides Deckhands.

Seeing Austin’s hand at Crawfish boils make me miss Louisiana and Mississippi, but literally only for the food 🤷‍♂️💀

Every single comment: “oh but what is that on the crawfish?” “Oh, that’s not like xyz crawfish, gross!!”…..

For the uninitiated/uninformed: there’s more than one way to cook mudbugs. Some of us actually prefer exterior flavors IN ADDITION to the flavor on the inside. It’s not one or the other: Viet-Cajun crawfish boil like normal but also toss in tasty flavors. Y’all should know by now one of the best things about the Texas culinary scene is all the mashups. Hell, I just saw a Greek/Mexican food truck yesterday.

Step outside your comfort zone y’all and try something new… who knows, you might actually like it 😉

Seasoning goes on the inside of the crawfish 🫤

    Deckhands isn’t “viet-Cajun” 🤦🤦🤦

These are absolutely the best crawfish in the world. They don’t taste like regular cajun crawfish, but they aren’t supposed to

Love Viet Cajun mudbugs. My favorite is Happyrito near lakeline.
