Does the kimchee overpower everything else?

Damn, that sandwich looks amazing……. How do they compare to the other major BBQ joints in Austin?

  4. best bbq sandwich in town, imo. pair it with their kale caesar and you’re really doing it right.

I Need Go revisit. I stood in line and 2 ish hours on a Saturday to try the brisket and beef cheeks and they sold out of both. The other stuff I got and the burger was unimpressive and a bit dry. But good to know the beef cheeks are worth it!

  7. I’m not usually one for pasta salad but I would definitely eat that one.

Texas needs more macaroni salad and less potato salad.

What’s the wait like there on a random weekday for lunch?

At the top of the list of local BBQ places I’ve not yet tried. What’s the weekend wait situation?

Everything I’ve had from them is phenomenal. The burger should not be overlooked.

The beef cheek is soon good. It’s like brisket on steroids.

I walked from Rainey St out to Leroy and Lewis when I was in town a couple of Saturdays ago – I do not regret this decision.

I do regret not getting there earlier (I was there 15 minutes before opening) and still had to queue for nearly 90 minutes, meaning I missed out on getting one of their bacon ribs by about three groups.

Both their beef cheek and brisket were amazing!
