Maple Leaf Duck ($41) was fantastic.
The Almond Wood New York ($49) was great, especially when paired with the out-of-this-world Peruvian Beans (which I did not expect!)

This place feels pretty hidden, but it has an awesome atmosphere and I’d recommend for sure!

Are they still doing music there nightly?

$41 for a maple leaf duck breast that wasn’t properly rendered is ludicrous

I had a really strange experience there at the chefs table that left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended).

It’s located inside the kitchen, it was the same menu as the dining room (I assumed it was a tasting menu but apparently not), multiple dishes came out cold despite coming from 3 feet away, there was no interaction with the chef during the meal, there was a Bluetooth speaker in the corner playing Katy perry that rattled on bass notes, and my view was of giant fish hanging in a fridge that was gently rocking an inch or two the whole meal.

I’m honestly not sure why it exists. It’s all the cost of the dining room and none of the ambiance.

I’ve been there a few times and each time was very tasty! The Pork Belly risotto is really good. My husband and I are gluten free and the restaurant was super cool in showing us what we could and could not eat. The oysters & Sashimi dish is also a stand out. I’m not sure what that magical sauce was, but it was delicious! The live music sets a relaxed fun mood. Looking us rezzies now. 😃
