Delonghi Dedica ec685 (thinking of modifying the steam wand and the OTV spring after the warranty expires)
A bottomless portafilter with an 18g basket
Modified KG79 coffee grinder with a 3d printed piece to directly grind in to a cup or a portafilter
A ceramic V60 and pitcher
Stovetop kettle
The tamper is from a local business, it has a very nice olive tree handle.
I made the WDT by putting pin needles through a steel salt shaker’s holes angled outwards, poured some hot glue to fix them in position and stuffed a furniture foot inside of the salt shaker to add some weight and hide the hot glue in the shaker then i cut off the sharp ends with a wire cutter and sanded it smooth-ish with a Dremel.
The portafilter funnel is a small cactus pot that i cut in half and it fits like a glove, it’s way better than the 3d printed ones that i tried previously.
I used to use moka pots before putting together my station so i have 3 moka pots, one 1/2 cup, one 1 cup and a 2 cup moka pot. Now i almost never use them so they’re just show pieces. (1/2 cup one was always a show piece, it’s so darn cute)
I’m open to the suggestions for improvements 🙂
Edit: The knock box is a flower pot, i drilled/cut holes on the sides and ran a soft wood tool handle through it, closed the ends of the tool handle with some plastic furniture foot. Voilà!
Edit2: the gray “tamping mat” is actually a wool mop head that i fit a piece of 2mm MDF board inside of it. The cork mat under the espresso machine and the grinder is actually a cheapo cork board that i got from a stationary store.
The round portafilter papers are actually cut out from a high speed brown filter paper with scissors because i have no access to them in my country. i put it on top of the coffee after i tamp it to get a more even distribution and it really causes a noticable difference i recommend it to everybody 🙂

Tell us about the labels on the soap/coffee dispenser. “You can sleep when you die” is the uber caffeine bean vs the Colombian or…?

How do you find the Delonghi KG79 as a grinder? I have a similar grinder; the Krups GVX-2, and it’s okay for French Press, which is my main brew method, but I’m well aware that it’s no good for espresso.
