I used to work caddy corner to slake and loved it so much. Even enjoyed it after they added their bar. Hopefully something solid will replace it.

Been gone for a couple months. Shuttered pretty suddenly I think back in November (not entirely sure as life is a blur) but yea a loss to us downtown lunchies.

Can’t say I’m surprised. I worked in that building and wanted to like it because it was so convenient but other than one or two items on the menu, it was consistently poorly done food at the recipe level.

That’s a shame… never heard of the place.

Guess that is what happens when you sell mediocre $7 dollar breakfast tacos to the downtown crowd with expensive rent and close at 2:30 everyday.

I work in that building. It will not be missed. I also went to the bar that replaced CU29 called Higbies. Charged me 13$ for a stash IPA.

Waited 40 minutes after online order was supposed to be ready there once.
