Homemade poke bowl (~550 cal)

    So filling I couldn’t even finish it! At least I have some I can eat later if I get hungry 🙂

    What I used:

    1 cup white rice, with 1/4 cup rice vinegar and 1 tbsp sugar mixed in (you can use less to your taste)

    1/2 large avocado

    1/2 cucumber

    1/2 cup shredded carrots

    ~3 oz sashimi grade salmon (please make sure it’s sashimi grade if you eat it raw!)

    Drizzled with Japanese mayonnaise and okonomiyaki sauce

    Sprinkled everything bagel seasoning on top

  2. Saved this to try during the week ⭐️ It’ll go really good with those little toasted seaweed sheets to wrap it with!

    I was about to ask if that was a poke bowl for ants. I thought it was balanced on the tip of a finger

    Is poke bowl just a sushi roll but…unrolled? Like a burrito bowl is a burrito but in a bowl?
