Last year in the greenhouse, any seedling was at the mercy of mice and snails. And it seems snails can eat a lot for how small they are. The little buggers really irritated me.
If i was particularly irritated by them i’d put a ring of salt around the edge of the shelves.

Have you tried those plastic anti slug rings that have a curved lip so the slug or snail can’t get over them (Google image below)? I used hacked up plastic bottles and they seem to work for now.
