Hi All!

I’m not sure if this is within the rules of this sub but if you love dumplings, I launched a frozen dumpling company called [YUHU Dumplings](https://www.yuhudumplings.com/) ([IG](https://www.instagram.com/yuhudumplings/)). We’re an Asian-owned shop based out of our home kitchen in Toronto.

Our dumplings are made with health in mind so they’re high protein (3x more vs. competition brands) and made entirely with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Plus, everything on our menu, from the wrappers to the filling, is handmade entirely from scratch.

I would really appreciate if any of you would give them a try. Or any feedback or thoughts are appreciated too!

Honest question, is it legal to work from your home kitchen? Do you have to have a certificate or inspection?

  2. Hello! I wish you would have non- pork options for those who cannot eat it. Happy to get some when you add non-pork options! Excited!!

Would be interested in vegetarian options! Will continue to follow 🙂

Do you have the nutritional facts for them? I can’t seem to find them on your website

    They look great though!

I’ll love to try your dumplings, would be interested in vegetable ones.

Also have you considered making keto/low carb dumplings? The high protein is great, but the type of flour is probably working against your nutrition value. I think at the current GI index, most elderly people who are at risk can’t eat it either.

You can use inulin fiber to mix with your flour to increase fiber/lower carb content, or use resistant-starch flour. I think there’s definitely a market for healthier dumplings.

It’s like you knew what I needed in life

  7. but dumplings are inherently high protein… it’s meat + veg in a thin dough. you’re only marketing that it’s 3x the protein because yours are 3x the size

Please consider making the meat and end product halal and kosher, from a business perspective it makes sense too as they will both open up huge markets (just check out Toronto demographics)
