There have been some “where are some good fries?” posts here and these are up there for us. They are on the thicker side but the edges/outside are a nice crispy texture. The béarnaise makes it IMO. [happy hour menu](https://i.imgur.com/ftnNgL2.jpg)

Happy hour? $7 fries? I’m sure they’re great, but I would never pay $1 for x4 slices of potato and some clarified butter.
(Assuming there are 28 fries there which is a stretch)

Love the low angle shot. Great way to capture the dish and some of the atmosphere as well.

That bearnaise looks like it was made by someone who has never had bearnaise. That chef needs some Julia Child in their life.
