“New England style/Greek they call Austin style”
A cross between pan and Detroit style? But in a cast iron skillet.
All wheat dough gives a bready texture to the piled on ingredients.
It tastes more like an open face sandwich than a pizza.

    Pictured are:

“Shortie”- $21 Italian sausage, “smoked” Pepperoni, bell pepper, onions, mushrooms (better known as a supreme).
Tig & Branch $18 – arugula, prosciutto that looks like deli ham, goat cheese and sour cherries.

For me the protagonista dello spettacolo (stars of the show) were the Italian sausage, great red pepper kick.

The uh oh spagettios were the sheer quality and quantity of toppings. This weighed down the pizza leaving for a half cooked – weighted blanket type pie.

In conclusion, open faced weighted blanket sandwiches aren’t something I’d come back to spend $40+

    5.1 Pepperonis

    Thanks for the review.

    5.1/10 I assume.

Can you ask for it well done? That helps sometimes

  4. I’ve been a Shorties fan since they opened, but i get where you’re coming from on the review lol. the crust is definitely a little doughy here lately on the heavier topped pizzas, but didn’t used to be a problem. Hope they can sort that out.

The Twig and Branch is a little inconsistent for different reasons, but when it’s good, it’s really good.

Their ranch is also really tasty!

Looking forward to more pizza content Mr Pep!

  6. When it’s good it’s really good but more times than not they haven’t been good. It’s a really inconsistent place.
