Reading about how the actual voting procedure in the finals took place last year with the voters not having to eat at every restaurant took a lot of the luster off these awards for me. Wonder if they’re going to make any changes this year.

Did La Condesa do something different? I feel like I haven’t heard about them in like 9 years.

I hate to say that I LOVE that Mariela Camacho got a nomination. Hate it because she just does pop ups and you have to be on top of it to get your order in. Love it because her postres and her Sonoran Wheat Flour Tortillas are the best I have ever had. Better than almost anything I have had in Mexico even. If you know CDMX – her pastries are up there with Panaderia Rosetta in Roma.

hell yes KG BBQ getting some recognition!

  5. I think we need to move on from the expensive texas bbq in a trailer motif. I really liked Oseyo and their new Korean food.

Canje is the best restaurant in the city besides maybe Intero. That guy deserves all the praise and awards out there.

I’m amazed Interstellar BBQ didn’t get the nod.
