My wife recently got prescribed to the AIP diet which, if you aren’t familiar, severely limits the types of foods she can eat.

So far we’ve done pretty well cutting out the bad stuff and finding recipes online that we can make at home, but we still would like the ability to go out to eat occasionally (without her having to basically order a salad and still omit half the ingredients).

Anybody have any suggestions on AIP-friendly (or even Paleo-friendly) spots around town?

For those not familiar with the diet, here is a fairly comprehensive lists of foods allowed and foods to avoid: https://thrivingonpaleo.com/aip-food-list/

I’m on a similar protocol and I can generally make Japanese restaurants work for me pretty painlessly. I’m never bored with Fukumoto and always find them pretty delightful. Every so often I go to Uchi or Uchiko but mostly for their composed dishes.

For take-out try Koriente. Mindfully composed asian-inspired dishes. Super affordable/delicious/healthy. They’re great people who will help make the menu work for your needs. Jay, the owner, is probably one of the best humans I’ve ever met. Wishing you both happy dining!

My former boss was on the AIP Diet – he pretty much stuck to The Well, Vinaigrette, Bento Picnic, and surprisingly (to me haha) there were a few options for him at Better Half.

Sucks that your getting downvoted like this. Maybe if you provide guidelines around what she can and can’t eat? I’m sure a lot of us aren’t familiar with the protocol but do know menus fairly well.
