New restaurant!! Lingua Franca in Frogtown by the LA river. Food was great, definitely $$$ and still working out some of the kinks but a great option for date night.

The dessert in the fourth pic was fire. They just need a real French fry instead of the shoestrings and they’ll be a regular spot for me.

The people that run/own this also own the highly overrated Wax Paper Co. They’ve come into the neighborhood and done nothing for it except bring in traffic, gawkers who treat locals like zoo animals, over priced mediocre sandwiches, and pretentiousness. For real, their vibe sucks.
