This was the restaurant that helped me not regret moving back to Toronto from Montreal (for food scene reasons; plenty of other reasons why I was happy to move back).

  2. if you can get past the mega-bros working there, their fatphobic attitudes and female cat calling, then yes, the overpriced food and tiny squished dining room is “great”.

I’ve heard some really awful things about the people who work there. Anyone know more?

Looks amazing. This place has been on my list for a good minute. I gotta go asap!

Unpopular opinion: found the sauce bland and texture disgusting

All their pastas and their tiramisu are great if you like Italian-American/Canadian food. Pop by Baldassare if you want something more authentic or Enoteca Sociale for a more formal setting. Sugo is def worth a visit.

just had sugo for the first time a few days ago and it was below average. rigatoni was overcooked and lacked flavour, we had this saffron pasta special and it was the worst tasting pasta i ever had in my life.
