My town has a large Burmese population and some of them have set up a temporary market of sorts in a local riverside park. I don’t know the names for any of this stuff, unfortunately. The skewers were chicken with a spicy sauce on top. The brown stuff is some kind of rice desert with coconut. The pancakes had an amazing texture; coconut and black sesame seed, not really sweet, not really savory. And, of course, a little baggie of betel nut.

Where is that? Curious where some of the bigger Burmese communities are.
