Just recently switched to espresso making after two years of pour-over coffee making, for the sake of learning latte art.
I have to say for a plain coffee, pour over is still way ahead of espresso, much richer and layered in the flavoring profile with the same beans.
But yeah I can try latte art now with the crema.

Gorgeous color! I picked up the same in White.
I had the BBP and outgrew it while I was within the return period, so I also picked up the Micra in white and paired it with a white Niche Zero and the flat burr conversion kit to experiment with. So in essence, the Micra is my first machine too (that I plan on keeping) lol.
I disagree that pourover is better. Good espresso is the pinnacle for me. If you’d not been stingy and bought a cheap machine, maybe you’d know.
