Pizzeria Bianco has officially displaced Danny Boy’s as my favorite pizza downtown. Texture and flavors are just spot on. All of the slices I tried were excellent but the standout was the red (I let out a soft “holy shit” when I tasted it), followed by the green, then the salami last.
It may be the best pizza in LA right now, but further visits are required. For science!

Those slices look like they have been sitting out for a while, but I’m sure they were delicious when they were fresh.

This is probably the most overrated pizza I’ve ever had, and it’s totally my fault for trusting Reddit and having too high expectations..
Waited 45 minutes and was extremely underwhelmed. The crust was so crispy it was actually burnt, which ruined the whole pizza for me.
I thought the green slice was pretty good though.

For a sec I thought that slice was on a hook on a fishing line.

I do not get the popularity of CBs pizza. Its undercooked in the center and droops like a flacid penis. Also, there’s too much crust. What am I missing?

I felt 5 dollars for this slice was fine if I wasn’t waiting. Otherwise I rather go to Vito’s, Prime, or pizzanista for an NY slice

Super curious for you to compare with Lamonicas – that’s the closest I’ve had to NY pizza in LA

The wait can be long which can definitely damper expectations. I enjoy it, but my favorite part of there so far is the sandwiches, over the pizza. Still enjoyed my pizza though.

Maybe my tongue wasn’t tasting right that day but this pizza had no flavor to me. They look gorgeous but there was nothing there.
Everyone’s shitting themselves over Bianco but I feel there are soooo many better options.
