Found one tweet from the Action Centre, and someone responded that the owner said basically that at least one of the workers, if not both, has only been here a month, so such a high salary doesn’t even make sense.
Honestly, if this is accurate, they need to report it to the province.

This place is terrible either way, honestly. I can’t speak to the validity of the claims, but can definitely speak to the mediocrity of both their food and service. Last time I went (6 weeks ago), it took them almost an hour to serve four people 12 tacos and quac, and two of us ended up getting sick. Server was absolutely useless (shocking, considering customers get their own drinks, cutlery and napkins). I’m not pretending this is a high end place with service to match, but the very basics of hospitality weren’t even acknowledged – It was infuriating. If this is what is up in FOH, I’m terrified to see the fuckery in the kitchen….
Do yourself a favour and go over to Itacate, their food is delicious.
