Which Mexican market in LA sells the best chicken in citrus marinade? (For grilling, kind of hard to describe, picture included for context)

La Carneceria, El Cortez, and Carneceria Los Compadres. All high quality. All located in Southeast LA though.

La Venadita in Carson hands down.
They have these citrus marinated Cornish game hens that are butterflied. Excellent for the grill.

What I like to do is buy the chef merito liquid marinade and I squeeze some fresh oranges into the meat and let it marinate for a couple hours, better than anything I’ve bought from any store

Have you ever had a bad one? Whenever I get this it’s great, and I’ve tried it at a few different markets.

La rosca in Bell. They got this habanero mango marinated chicken 🔥🔥
Edit: they also carry regular marinated chicken

Question- is the El Pollo Loco marinade a variation of this citrus marinade?

Larios in covina. Still counts right? Lol best carne asada and chicken I’ve had. Always get my meat from there.

Sanchez market on Inglewood in Del Rey never did me wrong but it’s been a couple of years since I’ve gotten it from them

Luis’s Butcher Shop in Downey has my favorite chicken by far, their Carne is good also though a little pricy.

La Perla in San Pedro is pretty good. They cut the meat criss-cross so it’s tender n well marinated
Ziggy’s if you’re near the city of San Fernando. Lines can get long on weekends/holidays.

Make your own mix. They are all too salty in my opinion and don’t use the best meat. It doesn’t take a lot of work and can always improve on your own recipe.

El Gaucho Meat Market
No one has said VILLALOBOS?????

The Argentinian meat market off Villa in Pasadena. It’s basically a Mexican meat market. Best everything
I’ve enjoyed Villalobos Market on Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood across from Jon’s.
Also, Catalina Market on Western Ave. also good for Argentinian style sausages / marinaded meats.
