How was it? I’ve only ever gone for brunch and the food was never memorable. I remember I enjoyed the environs and that’s about it.

oops – two pictures of biscuits! they deserve it, though.
in order of pictures, we had the cara cara orange salad, trout tartare, burrata, biscuits and ham, barbecued oysters, duck breast, asparagus and yellowtail.
everything was fantastic, but my favorites were the cara cara orange salad, biscuits, oysters and asparagus.
the biscuits live up to the hype — they’re reminiscent of a croissant with how distinct the layers are, how exceptionally tender and buttery they are on the inside, and the outside is satisfyingly crisp.
the cara cara orange salad was very refreshing and the best tasting dish i had. the oranges were sweet and just a little tart, and were expertly complemented by the pistachios, sauce and zhug.
the oysters were the best singular “bite” i had. i didn’t really read what was in them, but i’d get these on the daily if i could. intensely savory, just the right amount of salt and the photo doesn’t do the plating justice.
the asparagus is a new dish, and was the best dish texturally. the asparagus was topped with anchovy breadcrumbs, spring onion, and underneath was a butter and pistachio sauce. i liked that there were four distinct layers of crunch, each of them with a different, specific flavor to boot.
for drinks, i got the florida man (cute lil pink mezcal cocktail) and the nightshade (spicy cocktail not pictured). they were very good.
for dessert, we closed off with the sorbet and the chocolate chip adobo cookie (not pictured). at this point, we were stuffeddddd… the sorbet was just right to close off the night. super smooth, super refreshing and not too sweet. the cookie was very good too, but i just feel like i needed that sorbet.
in summary, everything was very well executed and the restaurant is gorgeous. worth every penny.

The salad and the Tartare both looks amazing. Never heard of this spot so thanks! AND they have the huge fancy ice cubes

I love their little garden in the courtyard! The caretaker gave me a bunch of nasturtium seeds last summer and now my garden looks AHHH-MAZING.
Also loved the biscuits. But still not as good as the ones at MB Post.
