    You know I never appreciated Indian cuisine when I was younger, I always felt ashamed to answer whenever we were discussing what we had for dinner that night because nobody understood any of the vegetables or names of the dhals. It’s taken all these years to finally come to terms with my own identity and the customs that come with it, I just wish I took more pride in my food and worried less about what people thought at the time.
