Came here based on a recommendation for their Japanese homestyle dishes and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered fried Japanese oysters, Green Mussels, Squid Tempura, Ginger Eggplants, Spicy Wagyu Don, Okonomiyaki and more. The only thing I didn’t care for is their yakitori and sushi. They have a small sushi bar so I didn’t expect much but another friend loved their torched sashimi.

Okonomiyaki I puke save my life right now. Coming back to the US was a bad decision. I miss Japan

How much were the fried oysters, if I may ask. I couldn’t find them on the menu (I’m a dummy probably).
Also, how was the takoyaki texture? I like it wet and barely set, like they do it in Japan. Most places in America I have tried don’t do it that way and cook it beyond, sadly.

Love this place, but we always forget to go. Unfortunately during the pandemic they dropped the katsu curry from the dinner menu though, which was the biggest appeal for me.

Love that place. Love the selection of food outside the typical “Americanized Japanese” stuff.

Any place with okonomiyaki is good in my book.
