Any places that serve stuffed romana/Italian pizza?
I’ve been feeling a bit homesick, and this pizza has a lot of good memories. I couldn’t find any place that mentioned something like this (not Chicago deep/stuffed pizza).
Does anyone recognize this?

I lived in NYC for 40 years, and worked at a famous pizzeria that made Roman pizzas (Roman pies). Not many people ordered them, and I was never a big fan of them myself. The diced potatoes inside seemed pointless.

Oooooh now I want to try stuffed pizza! As far as calzones go and I hope this can help you with being home sick, Mickeys Deli in Hermosa makes a bad B calzone and so does the Pan in Gardena. Lots of options from both places. Both have never disappointed me
