Szechuan spice, juicy chicken, and delicious slaw make this one of the best chicken sandwiches in LA!

    Pictured: Medium Hot Sando ($16)

Definitely top 3 for me. So juicy and awesome spice mix.

This place is REALLY good. It’s definitely up there on some of the best chicken sandwiches out there

  5. Tried it recently and definitely enjoyed the sandwich. But with the tenders neither of the two dipping sauces were great for me oddly enough.

I dislike when restaurants do this with the excessive overhang. Just make the bun bigger. What’s the move here? Just like 5 big bites of nothing but chicken before you get to the sandwich?

Wish i could enjoy the sandwich/slaw but r/FUCKCILANTRO

Has the vibe of a fried chicken banh mi, and I love it.

I guess I get it. Don’t need to order a side of tenders.

Unpopular tale, but I was underwhelmed by daybird. For lack of a better descriptor, it just tastes too much like white people chicken

I’d been trying to get my wife to go to this place for a long time but she’d been pretty burned out on hot chicken sandwiches (and tbf, there are a lot of mediocre ones out there since they became a fad a few years back).

This thing blew her (and me) away. They’re really crushing it, not just a great hot chicken sandwich but one that has a flavor identity all its own.
