Merois is…very WeHo. The scenery is incredible. If you are very attractive and want to impress your very attractive date and you enjoy incredible sunset views over a rooftop pool while sipping expensive cocktails and laughing with other beautiful people then this is the place for you. I felt completely out of place lol
Food-wise, everything was very good. The head chef came from Spago and added a lot of good Asian fusion dishes. For me, the star of the show was the pork shank. It was super tender and crisp on the outside and smothered in an incredible sauce. The Peking duck looked impressive but was too fatty for me and didn’t really have much meat to it. The lobster was really good. The curry sauce it came with was well balanced and had a nice flavor profile. I also really liked the truffle shumai. The spiky lemon dessert was excellent too.
Honestly though, I don’t think anyone is coming for the food.

Atmosphere: 10/10
Service: 10/10
Parking: valet only (bring your lambo), $15 for 2hrs with validation.
