Falafel from the center of Tel Aviv. Haven’t been for over a year. Really miss it.

  1. What type of pita is that? I love Israeli pita and have a really hard time finding it in the US.

Does anyone know what it’s called so I can try to find a recipe and make it at home?

  2. My boyfriend has a family falafel business near Rehovot!

The blessing of infinite amba is INCREDIBLE.

Something about fluffy bread, crispy falafel and sauces gets me rolling.

Just how I like my falafel, with a big side of racial and religious oppression. *chef’s kiss*

What stall / restaurant did you get this from? Looks great!

Sigh, I can only dream of falafel like this. The little gyro shop I go to in the currently frozen Midwest serves falafel, but it is pre-frozen falafel that was made in a factory served on a pita that was also made in a factory.

But the question is…were there fries in it? 20 years ago today I was happily eating a falafel in Jerusalem. Ive yet to find any that compare here in the states. Thanks for the memory. 🥰

Are falafels in Israel made with different ingredients than in the US? I didn’t like falafel in the US, but visiting Israel they were pretty good.

Ha, we can totally teach politicians a thing or two about seeing eye to eye. The path to diplomacy clearly travels through the stomach!!
