So, is it open? According to the website still not open 🙁

I don’t know how I’d feel about being drunk at the mall.

It’s nice to have a food hall like this in the valley.

Is this where the new AMC opened up?

Los Angeles in general needs more of these to bring foot traffic. Next up, convert the abandoned Sears at the Del Amo Mall into something like this. LAX area has a lot of vacant lots due to airport renovations, convert that to a food hall too. We need food halls everywhere

Tbh I’m very disappointed in this place. Food is probably great but not the management. I was supposed to be hired in back of house, my first ever job, but never received any email or contact in general despite me contacting the head of the mall itself and having my email forwarded. :/

Edit: Knew I’d get downvoted, don’t really care. People should know when a management team is trash especially these days. 🤷🏽‍♀️

  10. When did it open? I was at the AMC like 3 weeks ago and there was a still a huge amount of work to be done.

  11. This is great. I’m in asia right now, and this gives me asian mall food court vibes.

For those that don’t know, asian department store food courts are amazing.

Oh wow, is this inside the Westfield Topanga? I haven’t been in years, but I would go all the time when I worked in WH.

I was able to go to the 2 pre-opening events Topanga Social had on Thursday and Sunday, and it’s pretty nice addition to the Westfield mall. It is 2 floors down from the AMC theater that opened last year, and features more upscale food than from the regular food court (and some upscale prices), as well as 2 full bars. Supposedly there’s a third bar, but I didn’t see it. Nearly all the places gave out some pretty generous sample dishes from their menus.

Some highlights for me: Temaki Handrolls, Hey Hey Boba, Madlabs coffee (good pastries as well) Maneating Plants (vegan Asian-style food), Dtown Pizzeria (Detroit-style), Slab (BBQ), Katsu Sando, plus some familiar brands such as Tail-o-the-Pup and Wanderlust Creamery. Checked out the Truffle Bros store they had there – small place with a pretty curated selection of Italian food staples.

The events were well attended. Hopefully it will be a success because there’s few places like it in the Valley.

May I ask exactly *where* is this? In the Village? Inside the Westfield?
