Went to the Ramen Tatsu-Ya on S Lamar last night and got the tsukumen. It was incredible. I’m pretty picky about my ramen, there are maybe two places I’ve eaten at before where I’ve truly enjoyed the ramen.

This dish belongs in that tier. Absolutely delicious!

I’ve seen lots of excitement about this, but I’ve never had it. I like ramen! What is special about this dish?

Man I’m gonna get downvoted to hell for this but here it goes:

Ramen De Barrio hits just as hard as Ramen TatsuYa to me. Ramen TatsuYa will always have a place in my heart keeping me feed during the rona, but there are other experiences to be had.

Glad to hear. I really enjoyed the older version

Aaaand it’s back less than two weeks after I visit! I wonder how it compares to the original, which is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. It looks a little less thick?

Is there anyone that doesn’t like this place? Everyone seems to love it but me. It‘s so rich I feel like I’m drinking liquified pork fat. Makes me a little queasy just thinking about it. No diss on everyone that does like it. I’m just curious.

Sorry, but the new tsukemen has harmed a nearly perfect dish. The previous version tasted distinctly better. The transformed it from thick and savory to thin and smoky. It has genuinely upset me.

  7. How many posts about the same thing do we really need in a week?
