Homemade black pudding, Johnsonville mild Italian “banger”, over easy egg, fried tomato, Canadian bacon, fried toast, sautéed mushrooms, Heinz beans

I wasn’t sure about the sausage but the American breakfast sausage seems to be quite different from the British one. Bratwurst might be close enough but perhaps the Italian one is even closer.

What’s the burnt-looking mush on the left?

Jammed toast is a mystery, egg looks upset
    Sorry mate must try harder

  3. We wouldn’t really put jam on toast when eating a fry up, just butter. But good effort with everything else, especially the homemade black pudding!

The jam on the toast is an excessive addition as it should only be butter, but otherwise spot on.

    I was like

    *is that mince*

But homemade black pudding? Alright can’t fault you for that

Given the limited ingredients available to you this is pretty good. The black pudding that way isn’t for me, but great find on the snorker (sausage) and the bacon/beans/mushrooms look great. Egg could be better.

As an aside, don’t ask us why, but toast should be buttered, not sweet. Same if it’s fried. Jams and jellies on toast are a dish of their own (which we viciously love too!) I’m going to get downvotes, but I’d give it a good 6.5/10. Add some hash browns it would be a 7.

Why are we gatekeeping jam and not the hot sauce we always see lol

    Yeah…nah mate.

A for effort D for execution

Looks proper shite, but I bet you enjoyed it, and that’s all that matters.

  10. We don’t put toast abs jam on the plate. Jam doesn’t belong. The egg looks over cooked and the bacon is a bit weird. But it doesn’t look awful and I think it’s a fair first attempt.

How did you cook your ‘sausage’, in a Rolls Royce Olympus engine?

I imagine you just made a volcano for dinner
