    A little history

Actually the story goes like a group of tourists came to Diana restaurant in Udupi and asked for ice cream on a hot sunny day. On that fateful day the restaurant didn’t have all flavors in enough quantity in stock. Being a temple town, guests were in hurry all the time and asked to serve it fast. And in a hurry (gadibidi- as translated in kannada) the owner made a make shift combination of whatever ice cream available, some fruits and dry fruits. Apparently they loved it and returned back asking the same. When owner asked which ice cream they actually wanted, they answered – ” the one you made in gadibidi ( hurry ) “.

Unpopular option but canned fruit in dessert is gross. I dont care what the Indians or phllipionos say.
