It’s getting too hot to use the oven or stove much so instead of my usual baking pork steak, I used the slow cooker and it’s perfect! Recipe link in comments.
I left out the butter and wine, used green onions (just the green part) and added them toward the end, used fewer mushrooms and no garlic. I love all the things I omitted or reduced but am trying to keep my diet fairly low fodmap so changes were needed.
I ate a small amount of it with some jasmine rice and broccoli, and it made a fabulous lunch.
