I am interested in turning vegatarian and have not eaten any meat in \~2 weeks. However, I am a regular gym goer and am dead set on carrying on getting gains. A quick bit of info: I am a 21 year old male and my weight mostly stays around 75-80kg. A quick bit of research says that to gain muscle I need [1.4-2g/kg of body weight per day.](https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/howto/guide/how-much-protein-to-build-muscle/amp).

This would mean for me \~112g of protein per day, which corresponds to **8.6 boiled eggs per day.** This seems insane?? Does anyone actually follow this? As an aside, does anyone have any general vegetarian advice or resources that are recommended?
