I use the cheap bitter from Tesco’s, ashbeck I think.
I also use the glass Starbucks bottles submerged at an angle in the ground to reduce evaporation.
Go out for a few nights a week with a head torch and get them, I did it last year and some parts of my garden were just slugs and snails couldn’t see any vegetation under them. This year it’s a lot better, still go out a few times a week just to keep numbers in check.
