Had such a bad experience at Bitter melon I couldn’t believe it got a feature in Toronto Life, let alone on this list. Expensive cocktails, tiny servings, and meh food. $180 and we had to got to Swatow after to share a noodle dish.

Prime Seafood Palace very overrated and incredibly expensive for what you get. I understand that they probably poured a small nations GDP into building out the space but the food isn’t up to par. Will say the vegetable forward dishes there blew away the disappointing quality seafood+meat. Lot of other beautiful spots to splash cash at that push out better food.

Meh. Give me a guy from his home country who has been cooking for 40 years and is disinterested and slightly angry that you’re even there. He then puts your food in a bag that instantly gets grease spots all over it. That’s how you tell good cuisine.

I find every single one of these extremely obnoxious

Toronto’s best new restaurants if you want to spend $100 on a gram of steak and one drink that’ll probably take no less than 3 hours to prepare while you sit in a dimly lit room unable to hear anyone from across the table over the muzak

Curryish tavern is great. I would recommend it as a different take on Indian food

PSP is genuinely the most overrated restaurant I have ever been to, and I, not to brag, have eaten at some of the most popular restaurants around the world. Cannot believe it’s on this list. Joke.
