This large batch of picadillo makes about 10 servings of ~200g each. I included the ingredients I input to loseit and the nutritional information in the screenshots.

Recipe for picadillo de papa con carne:

1 lb ground beef (I used American wagyu from Costco, but you could reduce the calories for this by subbing in 85/15 ground beef. I wouldn’t go too low fat because the fat is important for the texture and flavor.)
    1 bell pepper
    1 tbsp vegetable oil
    ~4 tbsp Salsa Lizano
    1000g of potatoes
    1 onion
    1 large carrot
    Cilantro bunch
    Beef bouillon
    6 garlic cloves
Salt (to taste – I don’t measure this)
    Half a glass of water

    1. Chop potatoes, carrot, onion, and bell pepper into even small cubes. I use a vegetable chopper to do this.
    2. Saute the onion, carrot, bell pepper, minced garlic, and achiote in vegetable oil over medium heat until soft.
    3. Add ground beef and cook for a bit then add bouillon and a few pinches of salt.
    4. Add potatoes, cilantro, Salsa Lizano, and about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water and cover to cook on medium low for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
