This is a C- fryup. The toast is anaemic and has been grilled, egg not crispy, no tomatoes or black pudding, hash brown is straight from the freezer, butter is in a pat like it’s hospital toast, and beans belong on the plate.

Decent. I stopped by my local ‘spoons the other day. The breakfasts are usually spot on. They really let me down. Bad enough that I left half the meal uneaten, and fired off a strongly worded email.

I think this looks a decent pub fry up, although… no one wants a crispy egg, its missing some extras, the toast could do with some toasting, but all in all I wouldn’t be unhappy with it!

Wow this really divided the room lol! For a bit of context the pub itself is very spit and sawdust so I was expecting a greasy pile of low quality nonsense – hence why I was impressed.
Also this was the small breakfast, they do a large and an extra large.
