  1. Do people have trouble separating yolk from the white? I mean, it’s cool looking, but I’ve never in my life had trouble separating the yolk from the white. All these things like using the plastic bottles or this one, all seem like way more work than cracking the shell and tossing it back and forth between the shell halves a couple of times and calling it done.

    I just use a plastic egg separator. A lot less work and odor.

    What’s wrong with just cracking it into your hand over a bowl? Catch the yolk and the whites go through into the bowl. It takes 2 seconds and works perfecrly every time.

  7. Genuine question: why the garlic bit? To make the fingers less slippery?

    Terrible suggestion. Only a tip if you enjoy smelling like garlic and getting your fingers covered in egg.
