I hope they tasted their own product because I got the cheeseburger with grilled onions and fries and both where trash. No flavor in the burger and the fries where basically extra well done -_-

I’ve never had the Amboy burger (DTLA or here), mainly because my wife is more a smashburger type so those spots take priority. What would you guys say makes it so good? Just meat quality? Pictures have never really sold me on em but I know folks love em, and I hope it’s not just because it’s a big thick burger that an uncle at a barbecue would “ooh” at.
