A million years ago, my then girlfriend now wife and mother of my two darling children worked the late shift at a shitty car rental agency (they are all shitty). Next door was a 99 cent a slice pizza place. She’d end the shift, buy $4.96 of pizza and scuttle home to our basement apartment with the pizza under her coat. Then we’d eat them in bed together. Thank you cheap slice place!
