I just used the last of my El Coyote matches, and last time I went, they didn’t have any at the cashier. Can anyone recommend a place that still gives them away?

Pretty cool to see those and good question because I haven’t seen any in years.

El condor (I think), semi tropic, 4100 bar

Capri Club, Bub & Grandmas, Lingua Franca, and Dunsmoor to name a few in Los Angeles where I’ve recently been able to take one. I collect them and always am looking out for them. So many other bars have them too!

Swingers Diner does! My partner remembers the Streamliner Lounge did, but isn’t sure.

Mama Shelter used to atleast, they were little boxes and the sticks were painted, super cool. Haven’t been there in awhile though.

I was at a second hand store in Nevada and bought a giant shoebox full of matches for $5.

Not a restaurant, but All Seasons Brewing has matchbooks.

Sari Sari Store in Grand Central Market. And if bars count, Chatterbox downtown has matchboxes. You might have to ask for them if they’re not out on the bar.

Kismet (not the rotisserie, the restaurant) has super cute match boxes in the bathroom!
